Barnfield Academy,
West Luton

With the sponsoring of two schools in Luton to become Academies, Fusional were approached to produce a prospectus for each.

The brief was to come up with a design that would stand apart from all other prospectuses as this was going to be the first school ever to be sponsored by a Further Education College, Barnfield College. The idea of the coloured swirls for Barnfield West, represents the four houses or 'teams' of the school, Enterprise, Success, Integrity and Excellence and the path of exploration of these traits a student will take throughout their years at the Academy.

All the photography was untertaken by Fusional and no professional models were used as we wanted a completely free and natural look. We also had the task of re-touching the photos to appear that the students were all wearing the new uniform, which included changing the colour and design of the ties and colours of the trousers and blazers.
